E85 and forced induction s54 users?

Anyone runing e85 on a f/I z4m?

This is somewhat common on the e46s but I'm curious if anyone has gone that route on the z4m.

In an effort to keep on track temperatures down, I planned to increase the size of the heat exchanger on the vf570 kit, replace the oem radiator with a zionsville variant, add a setrab oil cooler and spray methanol. But having truly research and weighed the pros and cons, and after considering the availability of e85 near me, I think it makes more sense then meth injection.

After talking with a few tuners, I was recommend Id1000 injectors(seems high to me but everyone has told me for 500+whp on e85 on an s54 greater then 850cc injectors are required), a radium fuel filter kit and an e85 capable pump (aem 320 or walbro 455, or aeromotive 320). A tune is required as is replacing a small section of line.

Another option is running something like an advanced fuel dynamics flex fuel sensor. This would allow you to keep your 93 tune and allow the computer to register and compensate for e85s additional ethanol content, effectively making the injectors work harder. Only problem is on a f/I car injector upgrades are need (from the vf supplied 550cc) and running 1000cc injectors is a little overboard for 93.

Anyone out there have an input?
