Thanks again for all the feedback, all! Having considered all of these comments (and all of my researching other threads/forums), I think I'm gonna aim for some euro/CSL headers. Seems like there are a lot of good options out there but most are either too expensive, have too many potential issues, or are simply lacking in feedback on our cars (Z4M vs E46 M3) sufficiently for my taste. Just read in another thread that Epic is now making headers as well, and the Status Gruppe's look enticing as well, so lots of options for anyone who stumbles across this in the future.
