Is it some sort of clearance issue?

Obviously going from 225->235 or 255->265 and keeping the sidewall ratio is going to increase the sidewall a tiny bit (3.5-4mm), but honestly, I feel like my tires could use some more sidewall.

I've got 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears, and the previous owner transferred his stock spec tires (Dunlop Star Specs) over to them when he got them. I'm looking to get new tires, and I was planning on increasing tire width by 10mm, but I'm a little concerned by the amount of people on here sticking to stock tire specs.
I do get SOME tire rub when under full suspension load and hard cornering...but not terrible and only for a nano second.
19"x9" and 9.5", running 245-265 respectfully.
