Understood. And it most certainly is a different part (Z4M-25117512337; E46M3-25112228711). If I'm not mistaken, a selector rod replacement that doesn't switch to a dual-shear configuration and just beefs up the rod won't do very much. By having a dual-shear configuration, you clean up the lateral (left right) slop when in gear. Not saying its a necessary component to this kit at all, I'm getting one!
