The outter halo only illuminates when the xenon light is On because it is fed through a light tube from the xenon. To me I can't see it through the head light beam. When my xenons are off I have the drl's turned on which just illuminates the just the inner halo which i love but I just wish it was brighter. I just have never been a fan of the quad halo headlight on our cars.

I simply love the look of just the inner halo... It is very unique to the Z4 M Coupe along with our ///M badge on the wrong side of the ass.
