Some forums just have that feeling. I started on Bimmerfest and never felt particularly welcome, and they were very Coupetastic there and also very focused on the Z3.
Bimmerforums was more welcoming and I felt more a part of things. Z4um and here both have that "Where Everyone Knows Your Name" feeling. I like it here. Sure, i'll frequent both if/when Z4um comes back up, but I like it here. Haven't seen an admin squabble yet either.
