They won’t heat cycle out. They’ll cord LONG before they’ll stop gripping.

Not that they’re durable. Far from it. They’re blazing fast for 3-5 laps, then once the golden laps are done, they’ll grip well as long as you can keep them from overheating. Otherwise they’ll delaminate quick.

But they wear FAST. For treaded compound they’re fantastic, but they’ll last a few weekends and then you’ll find the inside edge corded. They don’t seem to require as much camber to work well like other R-comps though, which is great if you can’t carry a set of tires and don’t want to reset your camber before and after each weekend.

This is based on my ownership experience on the Corvette (they’re OE tires on the Grand Sport), so YMMV.
