At crossroads - shopping for a 2nd car

Background: I had a new from dealer Z4MC when it first came out. Love the car and have missed it greatly but I needed more room. Some cars later, I'm now driving an E90 M3 which I also greatly adore and it handles all of my hauling needs and fun needs but drinks gas like mad - I average 11mpg. I'm potentially going to work some distance away so am thinking of getting a Z4 as a daily driver.

Given this situation, would you get a newer Z4 with the 3.0T engine and DCT or another Z4MC. Sure these are subjective questions...

If I go Z4MC route, I'd likely drop a supercharger in it now that they're available and the pricing difference will allow for additional mods to really make it an amazing car - but is the sum of the parts greater than the other whole? Or does it become a money hole?

Thoughts?
