From my research (see link below), you can only reset the SIA if "reset" is displayed meaning conditions have been met ("coded minimum consumption limit has been reached"). It seems you'd have to wait until at least 10 liters of fuel until you can do that. Hard to imagine that happening when it's in for work (10l = 32 miles of hooning at the very least)

I do my own oil changes which are yearly at about 7,500 miles. I could do a reset now to get it back on the oil service indicator cycle and then this coming October (which will be a year) reset it again so it will be back on the proper Inspection cycle. How does that sound for a solution?
