Yes, way more grip to be had over the V12. Do yourself a favor and get the grippiest tires you can. The top contenders get a little pricey in our sizes but still not the most expensive tires out there. It's $ well spent IMO. I put on a set of BF Goodrich Rivals and am very happy with them so far.
