That could/would work, but I'd be destroying a piece thats worth between $300 and $500 on the open market because I have 90* bungs welded into my OEM cats, so it depends on the price difference between doing that and going all out custom pipe. I'd think it should be relatively easy to make a few bends in a pipe, and to weld on connectors on each end
