Those are your rim sizes, not tire sizes. Your stock tire set up is 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear.

My questions:
If i am going to use the car during winter (I live in Michigan), what would be a good all-season tire?
Am I able to keep the tires just in case a few months down the road I decide to change my wheels?
TIA

All-season tires are useless in the winter with any bit of snow/ice (and terrible during the summer) on a RWD car like the Z4. You'll be better off having summer performance tires on your stock rims, and buy separate dedicated winter/snow tires & a cheap set of 17" rims. Having a separte set of wheels also makes wheel swapping so much easier/cheaper and can be done in your own garage, and you wouldn't need to worry about the tire shop scratching your rims when they mount and unmount the tires.
