I've also noticed that. Once your at redline in first, clutch to the floor, if wait the extra half a second and then slam 2nd. It won't do it. However it needs to be said that our 50-60k$ sports cars shouldn't have this problem whatsoever. I feel this is a synchro issue. I've had syncrho issues in other cars and this problem is very similar. Going to do an amsoil tranny fluid swap. Amsoil syncrho mesh fluid.
