I have an M Roadster and I drive it all year, including through one of the most miserable, snow-clogged winters ever this past year. The car was fine. I have Pirelli Snowsports and they were great. My last three cars have all been lightweight RWD convertibles. I think LSD + winter tires is a good winter combo, but only you know your comfort level.
