The new 525 injectors are ~20% larger and the software is completely different to run them. The 500 software is actually very good, what is limiting the older 500 kits power potential is the injector capacity. The software run on the older 500 kits is designed for the injectors that were used on that kit. The crank and water pump pulleys are different on the new 525 as well as the oil cooler mounting/hoses. The SC discharge tube is also now a revised 1 piece section. The new 525 was designed as an overhaul to the majority of the older kit to improve many aspects of it including performance.

VT2-500 customers who want to upgrade to the 525 spec kit in terms of power alone will need more than just a software update, they will need the new 525 spec injectors, new water pump and crank pulley/belt in addition to the new 525 spec software for the higher capacity injectors.

We are working on pricing for these upgrade solutions now and I will update soon as they are ready. First to be released will be the full kits followed shortly by the upgrade kits.
awesome.... i like the parted inter-cooler hosing on the 500 kit me and simpson did some nice custom work on mine to really get a nice fit, we then powdercoated them, in terms of look and fit, they really look the business.... ok so we need injectors, and water pump and crank pullies + the software, luckily on the grand scheme of things... again very minor!! keep us updated on the pricing, this is something i'll definitely do if the cost is reasonable. (which imo really needs to be for existing owners )

Still dont under stand why we can just swap the injectors and tune.... if the cars make the same boost, then were changing pullies ect ect to achieve the exact same boost figure......
Beedub if what I was told is correct it may actually run less boost than your kit to achieve the 525 , thus the need for the different pulleys. It uses more fuel from the upgraded injectors to make power more efficiently .
