Please give me a guideline as to what offset I need to keep the rubber under the car? I really don't like the tires sticking out from the car. Any suggestions? I want no rub.

Thanks

8.5 x 18 ET35 and 9.5 x 18 ET22 is a perfect offset IMO for coming right to the edge without sticking out AND having no rubbing issues on either side of the wheel. I just put that size on my M Roadster and I'm very happy with the look and ride. Finding an old school wheel with a deep lip in those sizes might pose a little challenge, but I would guess something is out there
