try to keep it close to stock height as much as possible. if its shorter, your odometer will show higher speed than you are actually traveling. our odometer is naturally slower than the actual speed according to laser and gps tracking that i have used to measure the vehicle speed to compare.
255 is also the recommended tire size for 9" wheels. There is no point in getting a square setup and not running the same tire size. it defeat the purpose
