Most people chose street wheels & tires mainly for looks and secondly for function, as I do.
Street wheels & tires vary little is total weight.
Also, most people chose track wheels & tires almost 100% for function, as I do.
My track wheels and tires are smaller and ugly, but they perform very well and I get much better lap times with them than I do with my street wheels and tires.
I really do not care how heavy my street wheels and tires are and how terrible they perform, because
I save my racing for the track.
