There's a reason the E86 brings substantially more money that the E85 and it's not just the rarity. The E85 even cost more than the E86 when new. No disrespect to roaster owners, but to most people, the E86 is just a better looking car. The E85 with hardtop looks like it's wearing a helmet. It needs a side window or some extra lines/design to the area behind the side window. But, if I had a roadster, I would definitely want the hardtop option.

IMO, With the top Up, I agree the Coupe Looks better! Even more so with the hard top on the Roadster, IMO.
With the top down, I like the look of the Roadster better than the Coupe! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Coupe, Great Looking car!
