the standard roundel is 82mm and is held in place by two rubber grommets that press in from the top.
the z4 roundel is 70mm (size according to ETK, although i remember measuring it larger than this) and is held in place by two self-threading nuts that attach from inside the bumper. you can either remove the bumper entirely, or remove the kidneys and access from the grille openings.
70mm or 82mm, the back of them are both flat. not curved.
