Had the wheels in the basement so it was easy to measure. Note that the front wheels had slightly less clearance at the hub mounting face than the rear wheels
The front wheels

17 3/4" @ the inboard side of the barrel
For the rear wheels
16 1/4" @ the hub mounting face
17 3/4" @ the inboard side of the barrel
