Yikes! I'm no expert on Z4MCs (though I am in the market for one...) and the whole driving school thing would explain why it sounded a bit rough when I took it out yesterday.
It's currently for sale by Front Line Auto in Gilbert for $28,990 ($1k lower on their eBay listing and in person), here's the listing:

Interestingly when I asked the guy at Front Line about wanting to have an inspection done he strongly urged me to take it to his buddy at a nearby shop and gave me a list of places I wouldn't be allowed to take it. That alone was a red flag, especially after the rough test drive.
