Had the same issue. Solved the problem by Increasing seat height all the way up and as far back as I could.

Not only does this support the back of your knees better but it also creates less of a drop when you are getting in the car and less of a climb when you are getting out too.

I think the eBay clutch stop helped with this as I am now able to seat farther back.
