I lived in Portland for twenty years......I miss the summers, but not the rain.
I've lived in Norcal and Socal, both have their pluses and minuses. Unfortunately, the places where I lived were just too expensive....but I'd go back if I won the lottery.
Texas is in it's sweet spot right now.....pretty soon it'll be non-stop 100+ degree days.
