I'm using a water level to level up the pads.
I'm using my lift to drop the car onto the scales.

and...... something I learned from the old pro racer I got them from;
I use two sheets of heavy gauge alum plate on top of the scale pads with a bit of grease between the sheets.
That way the wheels slide back into place as you lower it.
With the lift , it makes it super easy to make adjustments w/o having to roll the car off & on the scales.
