Its certainly a short-ish flight and I really think the cost would be a wash.

I looked at that, we drove to South Jersey a few weeks ago in our new Prius, gas was $80 to get there + about $40 in food. 2 roud trip tickets were $300 each and a rental car was $300 for 8 days. To go up and back by car costs about $240, and I allways do it in 1 day. By air, $900. That's why we drive.
