Not really no as its designed to spin like this.... The vortech is a big unit and moves alot of air in a different way and even though it spins at half the rpm can move considerably more air and is very effiecient in doing so........
Each has advantages and dissadvantages, i like that my blower can make 750hp plus but i pay for that low down in the rev range...

Either wsy each option is sick and will give you mad power :-)
