the new controller SEEMS to be using a lot less meth/water than the old one too, so it might even be cheap enough for me to keep this thing on most of the time. I might even dial it to kick in at 3psi, which would further decrease its use and cost of consumables
Right now I'm using a 49/51 pre-mixed "Boost Juice" which runs $9/gallon. I've been tipped off about a place where I can buy pure methanol, and mix it myself to save money.

yeah good idea.... you could be use de-ionized water as the mixing agent with the meth, this should be readily available and much cheaper than the boost juice...
thanks bro.... ill b ordering the kit next week for my birthday.... like i have done for the last 2 years on each upgrade consecutively.. all i pray is its a reliable and runs like the vt-500 which imo.... is a fabulous kit.... BUT... i want the Tq the 550 kit offers.... that 2 psi nudges the blowers right into its efficiency range and starts... when i arrives ill give you some detailed specs on the intercooler/parts ect... which BTW is the same size just .5" deeper. at this point the 550 upgrade is minor now in terms of parts.... With meth in place im hoping to finally break the 500rwhp. i always wanted.....
Once ive pressed the button ill make a thread.... Very very excited!! 80mm pulley sooooonnnn!!! While im getting the 550 tune done i'll get Ess to activate the shift lights. This months salary see's the final bit of change i need :-)
