Sorry it's giving you a hard time though, I feel your pain.

I've never liked using Windex for things like this. I keep a spray bottle of water/baby shampoo around for applying stickers, vinyl, seals, etc.

Small story time:

My neighbor did tint for a living, (houses and cars) and one day he wandered over and asked me if I had any Johnsons baby shampoo (I did because I had a newborn) and he told me it's the only thing he uses. Apparently it has less of whatever is bad for rubber and glue in it and I've also found it to be slippery as all bejesus and it cleans up easy.
