Regarding the yellow brick road, I have no idea what it's used for now. For that matter, I can't imagine what it
used to be used for! It dead ends a couple hundred yards farther along, near the railroad bridge pictured in the Schuylkill River photo. Fortunately, it survives as one of those pleasant oddities that we run into once in a while.
