Does anyone know if the bluetooth PK connection will also handle my Apple iPhone music apps (iTunes and Pandora) connection to the radio's sound system?

I see that some owners buy an "Amazon bluetooth contraption" that connects to the back of the radio and handles wireless music from iPods and iPhones. This would allow the iPhone to charge via the cigarette lighter while using the phone and/or the radio.

If the car's bluetooth system cannot handle iPhone apps, can two bluetooth systems phone and music) work together? Does this contraption produce decent sounding music? I currently have my iPhone music playing through a "doogle" hardwire into the radio sound system via a tiny plug under the dashboard. Should I stick with this setup? The only problem is that it does not allow the phone to charge, so is time constrained.

Is there a newer BMW or bluetooth aftermarket radio that handles these issues and fits in the same space? Just asking...
For Bluetooth audio streaming, 2 easiest options are 1) wireless Bluetooth adapter plugged into your aux port or 2) Blue Bus.

1 is super easy, 2 is a little more involved but you have benefit of using your steering controls and audio info is displayed on your radio/navi.
