The 12468 is a 5x8 muffler and results in the muffler hanging down lower than the cross brace. I chose the 11385 Magnaflow and it fits relatively well. Its a 4x9 design.
I used two 3" tapered exhaust tips from ebay.
The custom cutting and welding to remove the secondary cats and stock muffler was done locally for $208.
03-05 Z4's use a resonator and don't have space for this muffler in the tunnel.
06-08 N52 Z4's have two secondary cats and have a larger tunnel that allow this muffler to fit, albeit relatively tight.

The sound is absolutely incredible. Best exhaust note I've heard on a non-M bmw. Not too loud either on the highway, barely louder than stock.

So if I understand correctly - no stock secondaries, no resonator and you put that magnaflow in place of the stock muffler?
Power increase? Sound?
