I have dunlop star specs on the OEM wheels (18s), with 245 fronts, 275 rears. They do really grip and even in the wet, they've been pretty sticky. No rubbing whatsoever and the ride is good, not ultra-harsh sidewalls. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time behind the wheel with the original tire sizes, 225 fronts, 255 rears to compare the change in contact patch. I'm sure others could comment....
