easy DIY to make Zed more like luxury siblings

The Zed is a roadster, and therefore BMW did not design it to be as luxurious as its siblings. While more refined than the Z3 it replaced, the Z4 retains some 'cheapy' qualities that in my mind are NOT "BMW-like"; including the glovebox that's made out of hard plastic that creeks and rattles whenever anything is in it.

EASY DIY SOLUTION:
Using black felt w/adhesive backing (found in any craft store), I lined the inside of the glovebox. The felt comes in 8.5' x 11' sheets.
  1. Simply cut the sheets to follow the lines of the inside of the glovebox;
  2. peal the backing off the cut pieces;
  3. and apply the cut pieces to the inside of the glovebox.
The glovebox now has a more solid feel to it and the items inside no longer rattle around.

I also did this same process to the storage/1st Aid boxes under the seats.

Its amazing the difference this easy DIY makes!
