No matter what, any paint job- factory or otherwise- is not going to look as great with a paint and buff as it will after a good wet-sanding and polish to level the clear... you might consider it, or if you've never done it consider taking it to a high end detail shop and let them get after it.

Think that it would help on Red - I would be scared to death they would take off the clear coat - all I have is swirl marks and the odd scratch but they do bother me
