I live in the NY Metro area and aren't experiencing any of the same problems. I've driven my car over the past 4 days when the temps have varied from 50+ to the low teens of this morning and no issues.
Are you observing your tire pressures varying that much because of the change in temps? You might just have one TPMS sensor that is faulty and causing the problem.
