ok.... mine are in.

Alot easier than first through. i used an 8mm cobalt drill bit, took it nice and slow slow, marked with a punch and hammer, all went very well, only slight had the drill walk which resulted in a tiny inset difference each side, but its pretty much perfect. i Had to loose the crush washer and only use the flat washer as i couldnt get the bolt to thread.

The actually drilling was pretty easy and this is definitely ok and easy on the car, be careful as the shards that come off are red hot, the cobalt drill piece showed signs of wear after this tiny amount of drilling, so if using a normal drill piece, take it SLOW.

As ian mentioned above mine were a single pressed piece that look good quality, nice tight fit in the tail pipe. i haven't had chance to start/drive the car but will do so tomorrow as i did this on my lunch break :-) they are pretty much unnoticeable installed, ill leave an allen key in the trunk so can install and remove as i please. Hoping for significant difference as reported!! ill get pics up later.

GREAT idea RPI.
