Yeah, the SSK was a pain. It took us 4 hours. Taking the exhaust down and getting the rubber boot that seals the shifter into place were the two most time consuming parts. Luckily my friend who does a lot of work on cars helped out (he does corvettes and was pretty shocked at how tightly our cars are packed in). Worth skipping out on paying someone else to do it and its a nice hobby.

As far as the torque specs go, I didn't get a torque wrench up there. I just tightened them until it wouldn't tighten anymore. I figured since the transmission sits on them and the brace is bolted up the the body tightly, there would be enough force to keep them from creeping out.
