Not sure what you mean when you say that you are looking for a better motor oil? What are you using now? The BMW synthetic 5w-30 is pretty good but I also use Valvoline or Castrol 5w-30 with very good results as well. Many people will tell you that you must use an oil that has the BMW LL-01 approval but if you change the oil twice a year like I do, any high quality full synthetic 5w-30 will work just fine. I've found Wal-Mart has the best prices on their 5 quart containers--often at around $20-$22 each.
