After reading other posts about the iPhone 4 not fitting into the snap in crade of the phone prep kit, I ordered a dock connector extension for the phone. In this way I can plug in one end to the cradle dock connector and the other end into the phone, saving $150.00 for a new cradle. I don't have the phone yet, but Apple says that it will ship on July 14th. I simply refuse to stand in a line for the phone. The plus is that my present 3GS fits perfectly into the cradle and routes everything through the car including the bumper antenna which helps with AT&T's notorious reception.
