New set of tires
Hello,
Will get a new set of tires very soon as mine are worn out.
Need advice. Below are some numbers to guide but can't make the decision yet.
Front wheel: 18" x 9" et42
Rear wheel: 18" x 10" et25
Front tire options:
245/40-18 (total diameter 653mm, sidewall 98mm)
Current, but rubs.
245/35-18 (total diameter 629mm, sidewall 86mm)
Clears the diameter and sides to avoid rubbing, but drops more so need to match the rear.
255/35-18 (total diameter 635mm, sidewall 89mm)
Clears the diameter, but each side will extend by 5mm which may cause rubbing? Or look ugly?
Rear tire options:
275/35-18 (total diameter 649mm, sidewall 96mm)
Current, no prob.
285/30-18 (total diameter 629mm, side wall 86mm)
Will match with 245/35 on front, but isn't too much on 10" width wheel?
