Honestly, despite it's criticisms, I think this is a great idea. As far as DIY mods go, this is one you can easily customize to your vehicle to make it unique to you. For you wiring Guru's reading this, have you ever thought of a switchboard a la F1. One switch for power, the next to start?
I think it could be done with some clever wiring. Does anyone of the electrical layout of the ignition?
