I believe they are referring to the mangling of the starter wires to achieve a much less perfect result than the new Z4's factory version. I had an S2000 before my Z4 and always wondered why Honda didn't just do it right and go keyless. It is a pain to have to put the key in the ignition, turn it THEN have to press a button to actually start the car. My wife has true keyless go on her Audi Q7 and I love it as the key never leaves my pocket. I understand the ability to press the button to restart rather than twisting the key again but how often is this really going to be useful???
