When you are the first to market, more things do come up and you might not be at the top of the learning curve. Our DME is more complex than the E46 M3 DME, so things that might work on one car with one brand of headers might not for another car with a different brand of headers (I think Euro headers are actually the ESS recommendation). When you release a product and were not the trailblazer, you have had some time to learn from others- in this case 2-3 years
I was not excited to have to pay for shipping for something that should have worked, but overall I am happy with the product. I like that the ESS code is adaptive to other mods as well.
