Nice car and low miles, that hood is a bit "fast and furious" for my taste though. I know miles are low, but $36k is a lot of money.... mods don't usually add to a used cars value, although enthusiast cars like these can be somewhat of an exception (that push-button start definitely won't be of any value to you
). I'm not sure the $10k premium over a similar car with 20k more miles is worth it. Nearly all issues with this car are well documented, and I don't think there would necessarily be a drastic decline in reliability/quality going to one with ~30k miles, which I've seen sell in the mid-$20k's. Just my .02
Same-year M3/M6 can be had for about the same price ($35k-ish). I understand the appeal of the simple small coupe, but I also understand the appeal of the S65 V8 or that monster V10
