I would not imagine VMR wheels are any different than say an Apex wheel.
I use the Tire rack tire spec chart. You can select a tire, then tire size, select specs and a chart will tell you what size rims that tire will fit on. 265/35 is right in the sweet spot of the 9.5" rim. I am planning on putting the Bridgestone RE-11 265/35 on the rear of my Z4M with a 9.5" Apex Arc 8's.

You should be fine.
