JFactor, here you don't sell plates, you just either renew your plates or you don't. I guess technically if you had something you knew was in high demand you could auction the rights to it and whoever paid the most you could take to the DMV with you so they could register it as soon as you turned yours in.... but that is a hassle and doesn't really happen.
Mine on my car would be in very high demand. I wish I could sell them for $$$!!
