Height of 275/35/18 = 96.25mm
Height of 265/40/18 = 106mm

Big difference.
I'm running semi slick 265/35/18 out back however the overall width is very close to 280mm ( semi slicks always run wide).

ok onto my next point, whats the point of running these uber wide wheels when all the car can handle is 275 section width of tyre, maybe 285 as an absolute max.... i just don't see the benefit...

anyway please post some views down the car showing how the rims sit on the car :-)
