I wouldn't want an ls in there because i just dont like ls motors (just personal preference, i know that ls7 and ls9 are damn good motors, but i dont think they'll fit in there) and i love I6's and boxer motors. boxer wouldnt fit in there, engine bay too narrow. if i stick to bmw motor in the same year range i should be able to keep all the great things bmw spent so much money and time developing (thats a theory, reason why i asked here to see if anyone had any experience with it), instead of downgrading the motor to a 20+ year old design. And, most stock ls motors are pushing about same power as the 3.2L I6 from bmw, supercharged I6 can easily make more power than a naturally aspirated ls9 while keeping weight down and that soo damn good mid engine chassis.
