I certainly feel better about this radiator on track just on the fact it doesn't have plastic expansion tanks. So its thicker and taller than stock as well as being made of aluminum with slightly larger aluminum expansion tanks. ( Looks promising).
So I went out on the back roads to do some testing with my data logger. Temps and humidity have been sky high here in SC so a prime stress test environment. So with temps in the high 80's with near 90% humidity with the OEM radiator ( 80 water 20% coolant with Mocool) I was seeing water temps after 20 minutes of hard driving (revs continuously above 4k multiple pulls to redline) at the 210 mark with oil temps in the 220's . Yesterday it was 87 with 90% humidity and after the same testing (with Zionsville radiator / 100% distilled water and mocool) I was only able to get the water temps up to a peak of 197 with oil temps stable at 210. That's very encouraging ! Track testing forthcoming in late August.

that's perfect!!! once ive put more miles on my car (say 20k) i'll add this as part of my preventative maintenance, this item looks like a lovely piece, how did you find install?? was it a complete nightmare or relatively easy?? fitment looks perfect, i love that it uses the stock quick release hosing... awesome stuff!! well done george... your paving the way here!!

thanks for the info on the cooler plugs, mine are en-route, I've had LOTS of miles on this car so looking forward to seeing if they make any difference...

my BPV is silent and very slightly audible from outside at 7900rpm gear changes.
